In accordance with the recommendations of the European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education it is worth to undertake activities that aim to strengthen the relationship between mainstream and special schools. The attempt of such activities is project carried out by the Board of Education in Kielce Support for public schools in the implementation of tasks related to education of pupils with special educational needs and promotion of inclusive education. In 2017 in thirty establishments in the area of the province, Consultation Points were created of which purpose is to support various entities involved in working with students with special educational needs. The article presents the assumptions of the project, the course and the effects of its two-year implementation.
Dr. Karol Bidziński, an academic at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce. The object of his scientific interests is school community action and subjective and intersubjective structures of meanings of entities who create the space for implementation of special educational students’ needs. Conducts evaluation studies of which aim is to analyze and support school development in accordance with the concept of inclusive education.
